The offender in this publication has indicated that he will be living in the unincorporated area of Yavapai County. Sheriff Mascher, as part of his transparency to release any and all documents regarding the Iron Brotherhood Investigation, is announcing the results of a Personnel Review Board decision today. The Sheriff also notes the Board has recommended termination of Marc Schmidt and Bill Suttle. Both Schmidt and Suttle had previously resigned.

YCSO has also been promoting seat belt safety in area schools as part of the Right by Kids program under the direction of Law Enforcement Education Deputies. This program includes a heartfelt discussion by a mom who lost her son in a traffic accident as a result of not wearing his seatbelt.

PRELIMINARY INFORMATION – Case reports not available at this time. On May 12, 2013, at approximately 10 AM, a man pulled up to the Montezuma/Rimrock Fire Station and when contacted by on-duty fireman, reported the apparent death a female seated inside his truck. Fireman attempted CPR on the woman without success as the man drove away before identifying himself or the woman. She was pronounced dead at the firehouse.
