New Tool On Our Website Allows You To See Crime Reported In Your Area

The public has a new tool to see locations of various types of crime/other incidents reported to the agency. It's called Crime Mapping and Incident Statistics and it's on our homepage at ycsoaz.gov.
Just go to Featured Content and click on the Crime Mapping box.
This tool allows you to map certain types of reports to YCSO over the past 30 days, 6 months, or 12 months anywhere in Yavapai County.

A MULTI-AGENCY EFFORT TO SAVE A BABY

At approximately 3:35 PM on November 10th, deputies responded to a frantic 911 call from a mother and father on Bloody Basin Road. The parents stated their 2-week-old infant was choking, and they were driving toward I-17 to get help.

Child Wanders Into Strangers Home at 3 am

On January 24th, at approximately 2:54 a.m., Yavapai County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a residence in a rural neighborhood north of Chino Valley, after a homeowner reported that a 12-year-old boy, whom they did not recognize, had arrived at their home. The child appeared disoriented and was suffering from the cold.

Rescued After Hours Trapped In Wash

𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫, 𝐀𝐙 - On January 20th, around 1:30 p.m., the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office received a call about a missing rider who hadn't returned from a morning quad trip. The 49-year-old man had left his Spring Valley home at 6 a.m. for what was supposed to be a quick, less-than-1-hour ride. When hours passed without a word, his family grew concerned and contacted YCSO.

13 Warrant Arrests in One Day

On Saturday, January 10, the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office (YCSO) Special Crimes Unit (SCU) led a large multi-agency warrant operation, resulting in more than a dozen arrests for charges ranging from dangerous drug possession and aggravated assault to fraud and trafficking stolen property.
