YCSO and our SWAT Bearcat vehicle were front and center Oct 6th at the Chino Valley National Night Out celebration.
Kids and adults alike enjoyed climbing in the Bearcat, and we handed out lots of cool stuff from our display table, including our new stress-relieving Cowboy Hats and pet-friendly Frisbees, along with Jr Deputy badges and K9 trading cards.
We also got out lots of National Child ID Program inkless fingerprint kits to grateful parents. These free kits, which are retained by the parents, are always available weekdays from 8am-4pm at our substation at Williamson Valley Rd and Outer Loop Rd. or our main office at 255 E Gurley St in Prescott. They can save law enforcement critical time if a child goes missing, and can also include DNA, photograph, physical characteristics, and medical info.
Thanks to Chino Valley PD for the invitation to take part in this great community event again this year.
