Administrative Services Division

The Yavapai County Administrative Services Division is comprised of the Support Services, Communications and Records Bureaus.

The Support Services Bureau

  • The Support Services Bureau houses the Recruitment and Selection, Sheriff User Technical Support and Property and Control Departments.
  • Our Recruitment and Selection staff are committed to recruiting a quality workforce for the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office and Detention Facilities.
  • Technology, enhancements, and support are important tasks within the User Technical Support department.  Our technicians are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for all Sheriff’s Office and Detention staff.  Along with support, they provide guidance with new technology implementation and maintenance.
  • Property and Control is the hub for all supply needs for our Deputies and Officers when it comes to being able to complete their job with the right tools.

The Communications Bureau

The Public Safety Telecommunicators within the Communications Bureau are devoted to helping all the members of Yavapai County and are the link between the public and first responders. Our public safety telecommunicators (sometimes called dispatchers) answer 9-1-1, non-emergency and Silent Witness calls, and make sure law enforcement, fire and medical help get to you when you need it most.

The Records Bureau

The Records Bureau provides a variety of services to the public and Sheriff’s Office.  Our Record Technicians are the first voice the public hears when calling into the Sheriff’s Office and work closely with the public when visiting our lobby.   They also process all public records requests, process warrants, maintain records retention and validation for all law enforcement records, agency-based statistics for internal reporting and tracking, and in addition process all National Incident Based Reporting.
