YCSO K9 Unit Receives Generous Donation

YCSO’s K-9 unit will greatly benefit from a $500 donation from the Arizona Rangers.  

YCSO Chief Deputy Jeff Newnum thanked the members of the law enforcement auxiliary group who recently presented the latest donation, telling them, “I know you take great pride in your organization, and you work hard to support law enforcement, and this really means a lot to us.” He said the agency’s dogs are all purchased with donations, and YCSO depends on the generosity of the public to also fund the upkeep of the animals, including food and veterinary bills. 

The K-9s are a huge part of helping target criminal activity in certain strongholds countywide.
