Crash Causes Power Outage to Entire Community

Due to the overnight accident on I-40, the town of Seligman is currently without power. There are NO SERVICES available between Kingman and Ash Fork. Power is expected to be out for over 24 hours.
Expect spotty cell service in the area. All travelers along I-40, fuel up, eat, and rest in Kingman or Ash Fork before continuing.
If you need ice, food, water, or other emergency supplies, contact the Yavapai County Office of Emergency Management at (928) 442-5103.
Yavapai County Volunteer teams, including the Jeep Posse, are on the ground assisting deputies and providing transport to those in need.
Seligman firehouse is operating as a red cross station and supplies are expected to arrive tonight. It will also be a warming station for anyone who needs it.
You can still call 9-1-1 for a serious emergency or if you have service, the Sheriff's Office at 928-771-3260 for a non-emergency.
