Almost 3 Dozen YCSO Deputies Help Kids in Two "Shop with a Cop" Events

Again this year, YCSO deputies were out in force for the two fantastic "Shop with a Cop" events Dec 13th, sponsored by Prescott PD and Cottonwood PD.

YCSO #1 kid favorite Deputy Do Right joined in the fun in Prescott as about two dozen deputies shopped with deserving children, following the 13-mile lights and siren procession from Prescott Valley to Wal Mart on Gail Gardner Way. Another dozen deputies participated in the Cottonwood event.

Santa made an appearance at both, thanks to a helicopter ride, as Rudolph and his fellow reindeer were very busy at the North Pole and could not attend.

We also want to thank Prescott PD this year for including a tribute to fallen YCSO Sgt Rick "R-Lo" Lopez, along with Mark McClain of Prescott, another longtime law enforcement veteran who passed away in September. Both were huge supporters of Shop with a Cop.
