Fallen YCSO Sgt. Rick "R-Lo" Lopez Honored at the 2025 Hope Fest

The 2025 Hope Fest drew hundreds of people to the Courthouse Plaza Saturday Sept 20th, and YCSO was there to hand out information to adults about scam protection and emergency notifications (the county is going to a new system: Smart911 / RAVE), along with lots of cool stuff to the kids too.

One of the highlights of the day was when Hope Fest organizers honored fallen YCSO Sgt. Rick "R-Lo" Lopez in a public ceremony where they presented a commemorative "Honor and Sacrifice" flag to his widow, Kym.
