YCSO STRESSES RESPONSIBLE BEHAVIOR WITH PARADE ENTRY/DUI DETAIL

At the Sedona St Patrick’s Day Parade, with our DUI enforcement vehicle in the procession, YCSO stressed the need to enjoy the “day of green” responsibly and to make sure you have a designated driver.

YCSO was part of a multi-agency special enforcement detail over the weekend aimed at impaired drivers. During that time, the YCSO deputies with the DUI task force made 34 traffic stops, issued 11 civil citations, 2 criminal citations, and made one arrest. They also contacted 9 designated drivers.

In addition, YCSO deputies on regular patrol wrote 34 citations, 2 criminal citations, made 6 DUI arrests and one drug arrest.

YCSO once again strongly urges all residents to always be responsible and to have a designated driver. Someone’s life may depend on it.
