MORNING UPDATE FOR GRAPEVINE AND RACETRACK FIRE EVACUATIONS:

GRAPEVINE FIRE: YCSO lifted the mandatory evacuation for Whitehorse Ranch yesterday at 7pm.  Thank you to residents and commuters for your patience and consideration during this transition.  There is still a staffed YCSO roadblock at 169 and Old Cherry Rd. to check in residents and allow for safety personnel access.

Mingus Springs 4-H Camp and Neighboring residents are still in a SET status to be prepared to evacuate and we continue to keep a close eye on the Yaeger Canyon Mine and The Mingus Mountain Academy areas.

The Prescott National Forest Service issued the following area closure of the Prescott National Forest and Verde Ranger District on all Forest Service lands as described below: Along the route beginning at the junction of FR104 and FR413 and extending 1⁄4 mile on either side of FR413 to junction of FR132 then along FR132 to the junction of County Rd 75, Cherry Creek. This will be effective through August 30th or until withdrawn.

RACETRACK FIRE: The community of Cherry and Federal Mine Rd area is currently still in a SET status, meaning this area is no longer under mandatory evacuation, allowing only residents and emergency personnel access.

The Evacuation Shelter in Camp Verde has been closed as there are no current mandatory evacuations.
