Many resources have been released to support any potential new starts or reassigned to existing incidents across the state. Hot and very dry conditions have stalled over the area. These weather conditions along with low relative humidity levels, wind gusts, and dry fuel could spur new starts and residents are urged to use caution when working outdoors or recreating. The fire is located 2.5 miles northeast of Hillside in Yavapai County.
