Pregnant Woman Injured - Hit and Run Suspect Arrested

Rimrock, AZ - Sunday, around 3 PM, deputies were called to the scene at Top of the Morning and Beaver Creek Road in Rimrock, following a report of a pregnant woman who had been injured and lying in the road.
The 29-year-old woman sustained serious injuries and was transported by air to a hospital in the Phoenix area, where she is expected to survive. The Sheriff’s office has been informed that the unborn child is ok.
Late Sunday night, the suspect, 30 year-old Jesus Junior Ruiz Hernandez was arrested for hit and run, endangerment, and disorderly. His white car, that was believed to be involved, was also located.
Initial investigation shows that, during an argument, the victim fell out of the car and the suspect drove over her, then left the scene.
