On Saturday, August 23, 2025, the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office (YCSO) will be hosting an open testing opportunity for individuals interested in a career as a deputy sheriff. It begins at 8:00 am on the Prescott High School football field, located at 1050 Ruth Street, Prescott, AZ.
This testing is the first step in the deputy sheriff hiring process and will include a physical agility test, a written test, and an oral board interview. Candidates who successfully complete these portions will advance to the background process.
