DEPUTY DOUG OWENS RETIRES AFTER MORE THAN TWO DECADES WITH YCSO

The YCSO Certified Officer of the Year in 2007 has retired from the agency after more than two decades on the job. 

Deputy Doug Owens retired this month after more than 21 years with YCSO, and was described as a "solid, dependable deputy with excellent investigation skills." Owens was also well-respected by the Yavapai County Attorney's Office for how he handled those investigations.
