YCSO kid favorite Deputy Do Right was center stage in Prescott Valley and Peeples Valley schools and the youngsters loved it!

He first went to the Prescott Valley Charter School, visiting Preschool through 4th grade classrooms on Feb 17th. Then it was a trip to the same grades at Model Creek School in Peeples Valley on Feb 24th. Do Right had the chance to interact with students, teaching them to "always do what is right" at school and at home, of course with his patented "THUMBS UP"! And the youngsters got some slick Do Right trading cards and YCSO activity/coloring books too!

Next was a meeting with grades 5-8, with Deputy Kennedy addressing the students in Prescott Valley, and Lt Pritchard, Sgt Barton, and Deputy Bricker center stage at Model Creek. The sessions focused on making both schools a "no bullying zone" by always treating others with respect and kindness, along with timely messages on internet safety, drugs and alcohol, and making good choices. Many of the youngsters had great questions for our personnel and several said they want a career in law enforcement someday.

A big thanks to the administration at both Prescott Valley Charter and Model Creek for giving us the chance to come and spend some quality time with the students. School officials at both sites said they were pleased with the presentation.
