YCSO ADDS 10 NEW DETENTION OFFICERS AFTER ACADEMY GRADUATION CEREMONY

YCSO welcomed 10 new Detention Officers to the agency following their March 13, 2025 graduation from the Yavapai Detention Academy. 

Jake Ticer led the class of recruits who were awarded their badges and certificates at the ceremony at Yavapai College, attended by a large crowd of family, friends, and YCSO officials. Detention Services Commander Brent Kimbriel addressed the new D.O.s, stressing how they represent the agency and law enforcement in general, their dedication to the job, and welcoming them to a noble career. 

Besides Ticer, the others who graduated were Anthony Arredondo, Brandon Balestracci, Joseph Coates-Adams, Victor Interiano, David Mosienko, Pete Nunez, Nicholas Poma, William Wyskiver, and Deion Zamora.

Three of the graduates have been assigned to the Prescott Criminal Justice facility while the other seven have been assigned to the Verde facility.
