Man Dies in House Fire

CORDES LAKES, AZ – Shortly before 6 p.m. Saturday, September 6th, deputies from the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office (YCSO) responded to a house fire in Cordes Lakes.

Upon arrival, deputies were informed by a woman that her 37 year old step-son was still inside the residence. Tragically, the man was unable to escape and was later found deceased within the home.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, but no foul play is suspected
