A new tool on our Yavapai County Sheriff's Office website allows you to see where certain crimes and other reports have occurred in the past 1-12 months in unincorporated areas of the county.

It's called Crime Mapping and Incident Statistics and it's available now on the homepage at ycsoaz.gov. Just go to "Featured Content" and then click on the box to the right. Once there, you will see a map, which you can enlarge to include all of Yavapai County, or you can zero in on a certain area. On the left side of your screen, you will see a list of the types of reports which can be accessed. At the top right, you will see the time frame you can choose (30 days, 6 months, 12 months).

Once you choose the type of report and the time frame, you will see icons on the map which show you the exact location of those incidents during that period.

It's just another tool from YCSO that provides public information on what type of activity has occurred in your area.

And, while you are on our homepage, make sure to sign up for the Smart911-RAVE emergency notification alerts too (also under "Featured Content").
