YCSO Shows Up Strong for Cottonwood National Night Out Event

The YCSO SWAT Bearcat was front and center at the Cottonwood National Night Out (NNO) event on Wednesday (Oct 8). The big crowd was treated to an on-street presentation of law enforcement in action as part of a great evening. The demonstration included Cottonwood PD and YCSO SWAT showing the public how they get the bad guys to great applause from the crowd.

During the NNO, dozens of kids got some cool YCSO swag (the new K-9 trading cards are the big favorite now) and many youngsters got a hands-on tour of the Bearcat and our Forest Patrol off-road vehicle too.

Our volunteer Verde Search and Rescue (VSAR) was on hand too, and folks loved the VSAR dogs!
