K-9 TEX HELPS IN LARGE METH ARREST ON I-40

On February 13, a YCSO K-9 deputy initiated a traffic stop on I-40 near Ash Fork. After further investigation, K-9 Tex was deployed and alerted to possible drugs in the vehicle. After a search of the car, almost 40 pounds of methamphetamine was located and a suspect in the vehicle was booked into jail on various felony charges related to drug sales and possession. The case remains under investigation.
