YCSO PROMOTES MACKENZIE AMBROSE TO DETENTION SUPPORT SPECIALIST

An award-winning member of YCSO has been promoted to a new position. Mackenzie Ambrose, who began with the agency in 2020 and most recently was a records technician, was elevated to the position of Detention Support Specialist for Court Services December 23rd at a ceremony in Prescott. 

Ambrose has also served as a YCSO Detention Officer I and II, and in September of 2021 she received a Life Saving Award from the agency.

Detention Services Commander Brent Kimbriel, who administered the oath of office, said Ambrose's new position is part of the "lifeblood of the agency", and commended her for taking the challenge. Ambrose told those gathered at the Prescott Criminal Justice Center ceremony that she is excited to step into her new position and wants to learn more about the different facets of the agency in the future.
