UPDATE FOR GRAPEVINE AND RACETRACK FIRE EVACUATIONS:

Not much has changed since yesterday evening and in case you missed Lt Joy’s evening update message, here is this morning’s update for the Grapevine and Racetrack Fire Evacuations.

RACETRACK FIRE: The community of Cherry and Federal Mine Rd area is currently still in a SET status, meaning this area is no longer under mandatory evacuation, allowing only residents and emergency personnel access.

GRAPEVINE FIRE: The evacuation status for the Whitehorse Ranch area is currently still in a GO status. This means fire personnel are actively working in the area, and residents are asked to evacuate their properties. All residents had been contacted by YCSO. YCSO roaming patrol units will remain in the area to provide security during firefighting operations.  Ongoing assessment for re-entry is a top priority.

Mingus Springs 4-H Camp and Neighboring residents are still in a SET status to be prepared to evacuate and we continue to keep a close eye on the Yaeger Canyon Mine and The Mingus Mountain Academy areas.
