ANOTHER THREE NEW LATERAL TRANSFERS START WITH YCSO
Published on September 11, 2024
Three more lateral transfers officially joined YCSO on September 10th in a ceremony in Prescott, joining three other laterals who were sworn in at YCSO the week before.
Sheriff David Rhodes held a public swearing-in at the gathering of family, friends and co-workers, emphasizing once again the importance to YCSO of an official ceremony which centers on the deputies' duties to uphold Constitutional rights and to protect the lives of the public they serve.
Two of the newcomers actually worked for YCSO in the past and have now returned after stints with other agencies. Jesse Leedham was with YCSO for nearly 11 years before leaving in 2021. His wife also spent five years working at YCSO. And Nickolai Freemyer was with YCSO for more than two years before joining another agency in 2014. Leedham will be with the Eastern Area Command while Freemyer is assigned to the Northern Area Command.
Meanwhile, Alan Conner spent 22 years with law enforcement in Utah before he retired. He then joined the PD in Williams, AZ before coming to YCSO. He will be assigned to the Hi-Line area (Ash Fork-Seligman) of the Northern Command.
