Online Crime Data and Mapping

Did you know that Yavapai County crime data is now available online? Visit CrimeMapping.com to search by date, location, and type of crime. The data can be viewed in reports, charts, or maps.

The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office in partnership with CrimeMapping.com is our effort to proactively share information with the public. This website allows residents to see a map of recent crime incidents near any selected address in Yavapai County. The user can also select crime types and date ranges, generate reports and receive e-mail updates as well as crime alerts. Incident report numbers are also available as a reference for follow-up.

The free program is available by accessing a link directly at www.CrimeMapping.com. Once on the site, a US map will be displayed. Just click over the state of Arizona to reveal those agencies participating in Crime Mapping. Open the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office link to reveal a map of Yavapai County with visible crime data displayed. There is a 24-hour delay in linking incident history to the site. We encourage users to explore the site and the many different ways you can tailor results to your particular interest. Again, this includes the ability to select specific crime types, such as burglary and fraud, for review.

Remember, residents who are aware of activity around them are better equipped to assist YCSO by reporting related concerns which can aid to solve crimes in your neighborhoods. Don’t forget the email alert capability that allows notification for selected crime types up to a 2 mile radius from your home or business. There is even a free application for use on the I-Phone.
